A little after 2 this afternoon I observed a Northern Mockingbird
along US 52, 100 yards south of it's junction with Olmsted county
road 7 South.
This is a few miles north of Chatfield.
The bird flew across the road from west to east
and disappeared into some brush.
Note that there is no shoulder on this winding and narrow stretch of US =
52
so extreme caution should be used if you attempt to find the bird.
