Just returned from a long trip up north with my girlfriend from
California, so this report has been delayed.
September 19
The following birds were all seen on county road 13 in Koochiching
county-
1.3 miles south of 77 - 4 Spruce Grouse, 3 rufous adults and one
displaying male, an awesome sight
4.8 miles south of 77 - 4 Spruce Grouse including one male
7.5 miles south of 77 - Black-backed Woodpecker male

Northern Cardinal - Big Bog State Recreation Area north of Waskish
