Hello I was out with my Minnesota Birding Trek group today and we got =
word that a possible Black-headed Gull was being seen in WI Pt. So we =
headed over there to see if we could see it. While waiting for the gull =
I spotted a dark Jaeger sp. fly from Minnesota into WI. About a hour or =
so later ome WI birders spotted a adult Artic Tern flying over WI =
waters. The Artic Tern made two passes into Minnesota waters. All =
possible field marks were seen very clearly.
Some of the highlights on this trip:
-Golden Plover
-Black-bellied Plover
-Sanderling
-Red-necked Grebe
-Horned Grebe
-Harris Sparrows
-Philadelphia Vireo
-Blackpoll Warbler
-Nashville Warbler
** Next trip is this November to Cook Co. **
