Meet at 7AM at the entrance to Goose Island County
Park from Hwy. 35, approximately 1.5 miles south of
the junction of Hwys. 14 & 35 south of LaCrosse.
Return to LaCrosse by approximately 3PM.

This is a 70 mile round trip auto tour, focusing on
the large numbers of waterfowl stopping on the Upper
Mississippi River Fish & Wildlife Refuge, plus nesting
Bald Eagles, possible Peregrine Falcons, Wild Turkeys,
Sandhill Cranes, Eastern Bluebirds & other  early
passerines.

Lunch at one of several cafes in Lansing, Iowa.

Car pooling & cell phones are encouraged. Join or
leave the tour as you wish.

Trip leader is Fred Lesher, for Coulee Region Audubon
Society, encouraging tri-state birding on one of the
world's great rivers.
