Hi all,
I am coming up blank on a call I heard yesterday and this morning. At =
4:30 a.m. I was awakened by a rapid, loud piercing call. Yesterday the =
time was about the same. No other birds were calling yet. It was still =
quite dark.
ee ee ee ee eeow is the the only way I can describe it.
Sat. morning the call was made near our house and then several times =
afterwards at ever greater distances. This morning I heard it just once.
We live in a wooded, hilly area of Minnetonka. There is a wooded pond =
behind our house and Wing Lake is 2 blocks south of us.
Any help would be appreciated.
