I found several good birds in Benton County this morning - a Willet at
the Gilman sewage ponds, and a Red-necked Phalarope at the Foley sewage
ponds. Also present at both places were Dunlin, Pectoral Sandpiper, and
Wilson's Phalarope. At Foley you will want to drive in at the Lion's
Park and then walk the trail around the left side of the front pond to
get to the back pond. This pond is presently drawn down, so it may be
good for shorebirds for a few days yet.

Also, two separate Western Kingbirds were seen in the town of Rice.
>From the traffic lights on Hwy 10, turn east, then south on CR2 and
check the highline wires as the road curves back to the east. Or turn
west from the lights and look for the small parking lot on your left
just before you cross the railroad tracks. One bird was seen in the
trees at the south end of this parking lot.
