Broad-wings are pretty much complete migrants and would not be expected =
around here this time of year. Red-tails of course are the most common =
buteo here this time of year but a red-shouldered is not out of the =
question.

This morning as I was entering my car, I noticed a flock of three crows =
hanging out in a mature deciduous tree in my neighbor's yard (across the =
street.) Then I noticed that one of the crows was dive-bombing one =
suspicious-looking one, and then I looked at the shape more carefully. =
Chunky, hunched-over...definately a bueto. I am leaning towards B-W Hawk =
because we have had them in the summer. I doubt it to be a R-S Hawk, for =
we have never had one here. Any thoughts? I will try to look for it, but =
its rediscovery is uncertain. Thanks!
