Just got back from Thanksgiving in Winona where I saw a late-lingering Cattle Egret this morning. The bird was at the E end of Lake Winona standing on shore next to the small wooden fishing pier behind the hospital. From the jct of U S 61 and MN 43, go N on 43 to the first stoplight by the hospital, and turn left to the first parking area by the pier. - Kim Eckert
