A 2-hr 37 specie sauntering drive around the twnshp of Holdingford: Of note- 1st Cliff Swallows flying about and under a Spunk Creek bridge, 1st Barn Swallow, a grove of Woodcocks, humming Wilson's Snipe, many more Flickers.  In downtown St. Cloud at 7pm on Lake George amid the scattered Mallards, a lone male Red-Breasted Merganser(my 1st of the year), and 7 Pied-Billed Grebes. mjb
