Lars Benson found a fall adult Franklin's Gull this afternoon at 27th
Ave West in Duluth. At the extensive exposed sand at this location,
there were also Stilt, Semipalmated, Least, Pectoral, and Baird's
Sandpipers, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Black-bellied Plover, and
Killdeer. Also a young Peregrine (green band on right leg), loafing
and wading.

To reach this location, take the 27th Ave W exit off I-35, head toward
the river and then east past the WLSSD facitilites. Park at the small
turnout on the right side before the road goes under the freeway
bridge.
