The February MRVAC newsletter has been posted and is now available on-line
at: http://home.comcast.net/~mrvac/Feb2007.pdf .  To increase availability,
we are now uploading it in a format that no longer requires MS Word to view,
but we are presently loosing some of the quality of publication.  Hopefully
we can resolve this.

Our next speaker will be John Christian from the US Fish & Wildlife Service
talking on "Planes & Cranes: The Story of the Return of the Whooping Crane
to Eastern United States" on Thursday 2/22.
John Christian, who serves as the co-chair of the Whooping Crane Eastern
Partnership, will chronicle this amazing story beginning with the hatching
of the chicks, training by ultralight aircraft and migration odyssey through
7 states to reach the wintering grounds. It is a tale of dedication, vision,
determination and hope for the future.  This will also be a great program
for our younger birding enthusiasts.
