Ottertail County - Hwy 1 about 3 mi. north of intersection with Hwy. 83, =
9:00 am
There were 6 very cold looking black birds in a tree along the road =
today. I didn't have time to stop for a positive ID but at a 55mph =
drive-by they appeared to be either Red-wings or Brewer's. They were =
the wrong shape for Starlings and no spots. Their tails didn't appear =
to be long enough for grackles. Any other likely suspects?
I was unable to relocate them later in the afternoon but will keep an =
eye peeled. =20
