Was out birding with Peder Svingen and Shawn Zierman. =20
Highlights:
-Grey-crowned Rosy Finch All three showed up at 11:39 and 12:30 at the =
Cloquet spot.
-Townsend's Solitaire at Park Point. The T. Solitaire was in the front =
yards of the only two houses in Park Point or 1/4 mile south of the bus =
turn around.
-Thayer's Gull. A first cycle Thayer's Gull was spotted on the south =
breakwall at Canal Park.
Other Birds:
-Goldeneyes (Peder counted 500+ in the bay)
-Gr. Scaup (Peder spotted two birds mixed in with the Goldeneyes)
-Mallard
-Black Duck
-Northern Shrike
-Pine Grosbeak
