Mike Bade and I made the trip to Mountain Lake this AM. Shortly after we arrived, the homeowner came out to fill the feeders so I chatted with him a bit and gave him a cash donation for bird seed in appreciation of hosting us birders. The towhee must have had a lazy morning as it didn't make it's first appearance until 8:53 AM, and then again about 9:47 AM. Ned Winters Bloomington, MN nwinters@isd.net
