1. Eckert proposal for MBW trips being part of MOU field trips.=20
Key points: a. MOU is paid $1 for each MBW participant. b. MOU pays for =
printing and inserting MBW schedule into newsletter. c. MBW business =
could be posted on MOU net. Past records show that MOU would come out =
ahead financially and its field trips augmented.
2. Affiliate Clubs revisited.=20
a. Eckert proposal would include: (1) Sending MOU materials to all bird =
clubs. (2) Give all clubs a free MOU membership. (3) Have clubs solicit =
members for MOU. (4) Cb retains half of MOU dues collected. (5) Clubs =
would be rewarded with free renewed membership if they recruited a given =
number of new MOU members.=20
b. Hertzel proposed that MOU would join all qualifying bird clubs and =
the MOU Affiliate Clubs Committee would arrange to have an MOU member =
attend these club meetings and speak for MOU and what MOU could offer =
them. The Affiliate Clubs Committee would generate a list of functions =
and "things" the MOU could do for the clubs.=20
3. Search for an Advertising Coordinator.
4. Breeding Bird Atlas.=20
a. Current status
b. MOU involvement; dollars and expertise.
5. Report on of job descriptions.
