The wrens were chattering away and feeding/drinking in my front =
yard. I got a higher-quality pic with a higher-quality camera, and a few =
digital pictures. I'm not sure how any of them turned out.
Linda Sparling came by for over an hour, and finally we heard one =
wren vocalizing across Glenwood (descending "sheer"). Then he came =
across the street, fed a little at the neighbor's feeder, then flew into =
my backyard, where we got some excellent views. Then he flew across =
Idaho and starting singing. This attracted the female as she vocalized =
from our yard (staccato double-syllable) for him to come back over. =
Quite a treat!
It's getting even warmer...
