The Gallery of MN bird images has increased to include 330 species of =
birds photographed in Minnesota. Many photographers have contributed to =
the Gallery, and many of the images are really excellent!
The Gallery can be reached by going to the MOU-net home page
http://moumn.org
and selecting=20
Galleries -> Photo Gallery - MN
There are several "Regular species" that have not been entered:
Tundra Swan
Greater Scaup
Surf Scoter
Long-tailed Duck
Gray Partridge
Sharp-tailed Grouse
Red-throated Loon
Western Grebe
Black-crowned Night-Heron
Ferruginous Hawk
Yellow Rail
Common Moorhen
Whimbrel
White-rumped Sandpiper
American Woodcock
Franklin's Gull
Parasitic Jaeger
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Whip-poor-will
Acadian Flycatcher
Least Flycatcher
Common Raven
Veery
Wood Thrush
Pine Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Connecticut Warbler
Canada Warbler
Swamp Sparrow
Blue Grosbeak
Brewer's Blackbird
You can see a checklist of the species that have been entered by going =
to:
Galleries -> MN Gallery Checklist
If you have images of any of these species I suggest that you enter them =
into the Gallery. If you have problems entering the birds, I'll be =
glad to help.
The birds must be in the wild and have been photographed in Minnesota, =
but they do not have to be on the Minnesota checklist. e.g. an image of =
a pair of Falcated Teal seen near Albert Lea on May 28, 2003 have been =
included.
Thanks.
