Ok, On the way home last night from work (Hopkins) I was driving on 5th
Ave N. crossing Hwy 7 to Oak Ridge Road heading north to Minnetonka Blvd
at about 17:10 and just as the light turned green an adult Bald Eagle
flew right over me with a big bunch of what looked like seaweed or grass
in its claws, I took off and basically followed all the way down the
road until it flew over the swamp on the north side of Minnetonka Blvd
towards the rail road tracks.. =20

I guess I've seen them carry fish and sticks or branches but I have not
seen them carry a bunch grassy / weedy junk..

Anyone know if there are any nests close by that area??
