Went to service wood duck houses today. Ice was too soft in places to reach
all of my houses so had extra time to bird. Had 2 Am. Kestrals, 5 Bald Eagles,
3 Male N. Harriers, a Sharpshin, a Rough-Legged Hawk a N. Shrike and 6-7
Red-Tails. Also had Red-Winged Blackbirds, one Brewer's and groups of 4, 2, 2 and 2
Sandhill Cranes, mostly feeding on the ground. Lots of Canada Geese paired
up. Six Turkey, lots of Pheasants around. Not much open water except streams. No
Herons at Osakis yet.
