This AM I awoke to the sound of my phoebe, singing in the bright sunlight!!
Now there are two phoebes, just like usual, one for each side of the house!
So I opened the window and heard the cranes also, over in Carlos, and the
song sparrow is also singing, as well as the first spring peepers. They were
out yesterday, too. The juncos are still here, but I'll bet not for long! I
heard a bluebird over in the marsh (where their house is) yesterday.
