On Sunday a large flock of snow geese flew over the house, and earlier =
that morning we heard Sandhill cranes fly over through the fog. Several =
GB Herons seen north of Basswood in Ottertail county yesterday. Also =
Hooded mergansers, Killdeer, Bluebirds, and many Robins. We found a =
dead Saw-whet owl in our barn. No obvious wounds, so we think it must =
have crashed into the wall. Cute little thing. It was a new life-bird =
for us.
