Ruddy Turnstone seen at Bass Ponds unit of MN Valley NWR, Bloomington MN.  Bird seems to be hopping on just one leg.  To find, walk down hill, follow path straight south to T.  Go left to trail marker 7.  Look south, near large beaver lodge, bird is feeding on the mud flats.  (some other shorebirds there also)

Posted for George Skinner who is leading a bird walk at the Bass Ponds this evening the MN River Valley Audubon Chapter (MRVAC) and MN Valley National Wildlife Refuge

Bass Ponds are south of Old Shakopee Rd at 86th, near Cyprus Semi Conductor plant.
