Tuesday

5 Pied-billed grebes - on the south end of Dead Lake on cty hwy 14.
1 Kestrel - at the intersection of cty hwy 108 and the road to New York 
Mills east of Ottertail
Shrike sp? - brief glimpse south of NY Mills

Yard birds included:
3 Ruffed grouse - 1 displaying (our yard),  why did one of them make a big deal about picking up leaves and tossing them over its shoulder?
