[mou] Hooded Merganser

I'm not sure if this is rare or not, but I am positive about which bird I saw.

In Oakdale, off Hadley by 694 we saw a male and female hooded merganser in a pond diving for food. They were there 10 minutes later, and until we left, with binoculars in hand. Very cool! I can't believe we thought to get the binoculars and didn't get the camera, they were about 40 ft from us. 

Also in the pond with them was a mallard and a goose pair.
