They're coming in to central MN:

Friday 4/4 - Hermit Thrush, Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Thursday 4/3 - Northern Pintail, Canvasback, Redhead, Blue-winged Teal,
Green-winged Teal, Tundra Swans, Belted Kingfisher, Eastern Phoebe, Fox
Sparrow, Pied-billed Grebe

Wednesday 4/2 - Gadwall, American Wigeon, Common Merganser, American Coot

Tuesday 4/1 - Northern Shoveler, Ring-necked Duck, Lesser & Greater Scaup
(couple, bit of a surprise here), Ruddy Duck (18 duck species at Princeton
Sewage Ponds for the week - only missing American Black Duck & Red-breasted
Merganser among anything normal).

Still short on geese (Canada only, not even a Cackling yet). Few Ruffed
Grouse drumming in the refuge. Sandhills everywhere. No shorebirds.
Sparrows still a little light. Most ponds & lakes still frozen.

Good birding to all & sundry.
