Took today off for birding, so I had a busy day!

Coon Rapids Dam ( Coon Rapids, MN):

Common Loon (6)
Hooded Merganser (1pr)
Common Merganser (2)
Mallads (Many)
Cedar Waxwing (1)
Eastern Bluebird (2)
Ruddy Ducks (8pr)
L. Scaups (6pr)
Am. Coot (Many)


Gem Lake (WBL,MN)

Common Loons (Many)
Scaups (Many)
Northern Shoveler (1pr)
Canadian Geese (10pr)
Mallards (Many)
Red Breasted Merganser (1pr)
Wood Ducks (3pr)

Tamarack Nature Center (WBL, MN)

Eastern Blue Birds (Many- saw the blue-est Blue Bird I've seen to date)
Cardinal (1)
Gold Finch (2) - first sighting for me this spring
Wood Ducks (2pr)
Mallards (Many)
Canadian Geese (Many)
Great Egrets (3)
Great Blue Heron (1)
Pileated Woodpecker (1)
Yet to be identified bird (1) May need someones help.? Looks common - sparow Or finch hard for me to tell. 
If I can't figure it out, I will send pic.
