We have been getting complaints that the discussion on scopes and  
digi-scoping has gone beyond the list's purpose and range of topics.  
If you have something to offer with regard to experience with  
spotting scopes, optics in general, or bird photography, these are  
perfectly acceptable if kept brief and informative. Conversations on  
the design specifications, film vs. digital image quality, or  
operations flies on stealth aircraft are best sent privately.
