[mou] great horned owls in Plymouth

Two night ago whilst cross country skiing, I skied right underneath a
great horned owl behind the visitor center at French Regional Park in
Plymouth. It was dueting with another one. The distant one was singing
the classic version of the song but the one overhead was singing its own
variation--a few extra notes added to the classic song but the same
every time. Either an owl who couldn't get it right or an extra talented
owl trying its own improvisation?
