[mou] Sandhill cranes in Carver County

Driving back from mass at 6:15 this evening, we saw a flock of large birds
that couldn't seem to hold a V formation. Deciding they were bigger than
geese, we followed to where they seemed to be coming in for a landing. Sure
enough, they landed in a pond near a new development off of Bavaria Road and
we got out for a look from about 50 feet away - 15 big Sandhill cranes were
standing in the water. They took off again after a minute or two, heading
southwest.
