Started out the morning at Crosby Pond Park.
Highlights here included:
Broad-winged Hawk
Black-and-white Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Northern Waterthrush
Next, I headed to the Bass Ponds in Bloomington. Here
I found a Prothonotary Warbler foraging in cattails at
the edge of the biggest pond along with numerous
Yellow-rumped Warblers and a couple Yellow Warblers.
Other notables at Bass Ponds:
Lesser Yellowlegs
Lincoln's Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
Winter Wren (Singing)
Swainson's Thrush
Baltimore Oriole
Least Flycatcher
Common Yellowthroat
5 Bald Eagles harassing a tight raft of coots, in an
attempt to pluck them out of the water.
