I went by the Gaylord Sewage ponds this evening and found 12 species of shorebirds present including 2 Red-necked phalaropes, 1 Willet, and 3 Ruddy Turnstones. Others seen were:
Greater Yellowlegs - 15
Lesser Yellowlegs - 10
Dunlin - many
Short-billed Dowitcher - 2
Least Sandpiper - many
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 3
Wilson's Phalarope - many
Spotted Sandpiper - many
Killdeer

The ponds are just east of Hwy 22 on CR 67. There is a dirt track along the outside of the fence along the western boundary that provides excellent viewing in the evening. Most of the shorebirds were in the southernmost pond. The Red-necked Phalaropes were in the NW corner of the southern pond.
