I was just perusing the MOUs documentation page, when I stumbled upon photos of what I believe to be a Long-billed Curlew. It was documented as a Whimbrel, and the observers, Dan and Pam Guynn are to commended for their photos, and their attempts ID this bird. While Whimbrels are "regular" in the western part of the state the Long-billed Curlew would be more expected. The photos show a lack of a crown stripe, an overall buffy coloration, and a lack of streaks on the flanks. There is a location given in the documentation.
