[mou] Upcoming Field Trips

Here is a list of the upcoming MOU field trips for the fall:
 
October 25th - Mille Lacs Lake and possibly Kathio and Father Hennepin
State Parks with Al Schirmacher - 7:30-12:00.
The focus will be on loons, grebes and early winter migrants.  A state
park sticker or day permit will be required.  The trip 
is open to 20-25 participants and is free and open to the public.

November 8th - Houston County with Fred Lesher - 9:00 meeting time at
the Kwik Trip in the middle of La Crescent at the only stoplight in
town.  The focus will be on waterfowl and raptors along the Mississippi
River south to Lansing, Iowa and back up to La Crosse on the Wisconsin
side of the river.  The trip is free and open to the public.  Contact

November 15th - Cedar Creek Reserve in Anoka and Isanti Counties with
Jim Horwith - 7:30 meeting at the Cedar Creek HQ.
The focus will be on finding over-wintering Red-headed Woodpeckers and
any other interesting winter residents or late fall migrants.  The trip
is free and open to the public.  Contact Jim at jlhror at aol.com or at
