Hey birders!

Observations on and off from 10:00am until 5:30pm at Bethany Lutheran College resulted in the following numbers:

22 Turkey Vultures
8 Sharp-shinned Hawks
10 Cooper's Hawks
26 Red-tailed Hawks (including a pale bird approaching Krider's)
66 Broad-winged Hawks
6 Bald Eagles
4 Ospreys
5 Peregrine Falcons
2 Merlins
1 American Kestrel
9 Assorted unidentified raptors

140 American White Pelicans
113 Double-crested Cormorants
100+Blue Jays

Blue skies made for difficult spotting and those numbers may under-represent actual movement.
