This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, August 21st 2008.

Fall migration is well underway and a variety of warblers have been
reported in the southern half of the state, including TENNESSEE WARBLER,
MAGNOLIA WARBLER, BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, WILSON'S WARBLER, and NORTHERN
WATERTHRUSH.

On the 16th, a SUMMER TANAGER was seen at the Chamberlain Woods SNA in
Le Sueur County. The bird was about 250 yards northeast of the parking
area.

Unusual was the SPOTTED TOWHEE reported on August 18th at Lake Vadnais
