Uncommon in Nobles County in the Summer season

John Hockema and I observed several gray partridges in southwest Minnesota this weekend. They have been hard to come by the past couple seasons, but this summer they seem to be doing exceptionally well. This particular bird was observed with one chick in Ransom Township.
