Bald Eagle in Scott County

Common in Scott County in the Winter season

At Blue Lake, a young eagle with a Mallard it had just dragged out of the water. I did not see it attack the duck, but from a distance I noticed it walking in the shallow water, flapping its wings and clearly struggling with something. I assumed it was a large fish, but when I walked down toward it, I saw that it was a Mallard.
