'Casual' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Lac qui Parle County for the Spring season

In the early morning of 29 April 2007 John Ellis and Suzanne Swanson reported 23 White-faced Ibises 2 miles south then 0.6 miles west of Madison, Lac Qui Parle County (section 6, Hamlin Twp.).

Later that day Bill Marengo, birding with Paul Egeland and Peter Neubeck, identified one of those birds as an adult Glossy Ibis.

Also present were 20 adult and 2 subadult White-faced Ibises. The ibis flock were present at this location until 2:45PM when they flew a mile northwest up the same flooded creek to section 31, Madison Twp. The group of ibises was last seen just after 6:00PM when they flew nearly an additional mile northwest up the creek and landed in section 25, Arena Twp.
