Ruffed Grouse in Pine County

Common in Pine County in the Fall season

Sorry for the obstructed view and terrible back-lighting but it's the first time I've been able to photograph a grouse. I promise a better one soon. The population is really up this year compared to the last 2 years. This one was flush number 40 for the day.
