'Accidental' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Hennepin County for the Spring season

Paul Budde found a Neotropic Cormorant at 1:20 PM 5/9/2007, at Diamond Lake in S Mpls at the SW corner of 54th and Portland. Park on the north side of the lake at Pearl Park and cross 54th to view the lake. The bird was with about 2 dozen Double-crested Cormorants. It is much smaller than DCCOs and is seen here (left) with one adult and one sub-adult. Note the white "V" at the base of the gape.
