Uncommon in St. Louis County in the Fall season

First-cycle Franklin's Gull (Leucophaeus pipixcan) at Park Point Recreation Area, Duluth, 15 October 2010. This species is normally very rare to casual in the Twin Ports and along the North Shore of Lake Superior, but at least 3 different individuals have been recorded at Park Point and at Wisconsin Point this fall.
