Five or fewer records in Beltrami County for the Winter season

White winged scoter found by Alex Burchard 12-1-22 at the Mississippi River inlet on Lake Bemidji. There are maybe 10 acres of open water there and the bird is mixed in with a lot of other ducks and swans. It was regularly feeding and also chasing after other birds, including mallards, goldeneyes, and bufflehead.
