Uncommon in Roseau County in the Winter season

FROST, not snow, is what covers the tree holding the Bohemian Waxwings. Roseau, Beltrami Island, and Baudette bird counts were held this week in VERY frosty conditions. One flock of Bohemians near Roseau was estimated by two different counters to be either 485 or "just over 500." Either way, it was impressive.
