Uncommon in Hennepin County in the Spring season

Out on the open grass just east of the band shell at Veterans' Memorial Park in Richfield. If you're the first to arrive, this sparrow seems to be happy feeding on the grass, eating vegetative materials and earthworms. If you're not the first, head for the other observers.
