Common in Dakota County in the Winter season

This is a composite image of same bird, of the Oregon subspecies group. At my feeder in Eagan on 12/22/10. Stayed long enough to be photographed. This bird was much more bright rufous on mantle than shown. Both images lightened somewhat to account for dark lighting.
