Occasional in St. Louis County in the Winter season

Northern Saw Whet Owl coming to a feeder on East Skyline Rd. The report was made by Dave Benson who got a call from the home owner. The photo was taken from the front of the house with Kim Eckert present. I bet there will be more Saw Whet Owls reported in yards in Duluth this winter season with high numbers reported this fall and high levels of snow and the last rain fall is frozen on top of the snow surface making hunting pretty tough for these little owls.
