'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Adult Great Black-backed Gull at Canal Park, Duluth, 12 February 2011. This overwintering bird has been present since 6 December 2010. Also seen at Canal Park today were approximately 140 Herring Gulls, third-cycle and adult Thayer's Gull, second-cycle Iceland/Thayer's Gull, first-cycle and second-cycle Glaucous Gull, and first-cycle Great Black-backed Gull.
