Five or fewer records in Redwood County for the Winter season

Ron Erpelding and myself re-found the Short-eared Owl that Brad Bolduan reported on 1/29/25. It was found at 4:05 pm hunting in the grass drainage ditch on the east side of Hwy 71 (between 210th & 220th St.). It eventually made its way toward the highway and we found it resting in this stubble field and providing very good looks.
