Snowy Egret in Blue Earth County

'Rare Regular' in Minnesota - Five or fewer records in Blue Earth County for the Spring season

First found yesterday by Tom Dahlen. This afternoon the bird was actively foraging in the wetlands on both sides of Cemetery Road east of CR 14 in Minnesota Lake. This is very close to the border with Faribault County to the south; if one watches the bird in the wetland on the south side of the road it might wander far enough into Faribault County.
