'Rare Regular' in Minnesota

Second-cycle type Great Black-backed Gull observed on both sides of the Minnesota-Wisconsin state line at the Superior Entry on 29 May 2011. This represents the second latest occurrence of this species in Minnesota, following a first-cycle bird that lingered in Duluth through 30 May 1998 (Loon 70:60-214).
